West Main Baptist Church

Pastor Jason Kraft came to Artesia as our Lead Pastor in August 2004. Jason believes that God wants us to enjoy a fulfilling, purposeful life. Jason's top priority in life is to fulfill God's purpose and to lead and love his family (wife Renee - children Charis, Hope, Josiah, and Faith).
When he's not at church you'll probably find Jason hanging with his kids or blowing by you on his Harley.

Pastor Mike Spencer holds a Masters and a Doctorate degree in Business from Columbus University. Mike has served on staff as interim worship leader at West Main Baptist Church since July 2004. He left his position as accounting manager and officer in a large oil and gas company to assume the full time position of worship and discipleship pastor in February 2006. He and his wife Beth love being a part of the West Main family and are excited to see what the Lord has planned for this community of believers. Being the "old guy" on staff, all of their kids are grown and married, just graduated from college, in college and heading into college. They covet your prayers as they empty the nest and move forward into the ministry God has called them too.
